In today’s episode, hosts Jen and Bailey talk about finding your success beyond using the number on the scale as your form of measurement. They talk about the things that helped them to see they were making progress in their health goals even when the number on the scale could have told them the progress wasn’t “good” or “fast enough” progress. Those things are what are commonly called non-scale victories.
Jen and Bailey discuss the experiences they had that kept propelling them forward and moving in the direction of a healthier lifestyle, along with the things they were finally able to do or achieve that meant they were getting closer to their goals. Some of the things mentioned include changes that happened in their clothing, new hobbies or activities they tried, and concurring fears and insecurities about their bodies that the scale led them to have.
