Slow Cooker Sweet Balsamic Beef + Recipe Video!

Ingredients

  • 3 pound beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 scoops Vital Proteins Beef Broth Collagen
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (no sugar added)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to slow cooker
  2. Stir to combine liquid ingredients and spices
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until roast is tender and falling apart
  4. Remove from slow cooker and shred
  5. Optional: add liquid from slow cooker to a large skillet or braising pan, bring to a simmer
  6. Let simmer for 20 minutes or until sauce becomes thick
  7. Add sauce over beef and stir to evenly coat
  8. Serve and enjoy!
