  • 2 black tea bags (can use green tea if you prefer)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (can use white sugar or honey)

  • 1.52 cups strawberries, stems removed

  2. Refrigerate the tea to chill while making the boba and strawberries
  3. To make the tapioca pearls, boil according to the instructions on the packaging, about 5 minutes or until they are floating. Drain and let cool in an ice bath or bowl of cold water
  4. In a blender or using an immersion blender, blend the tea, brown sugar, milk and strawberries until smooth. Taste and add an additional tablespoon of sugar (or honey) if desired
  5. Add the tapioca pearls into two glasses, then add the ice and strawberry tea
