15 Minute Chili Lime Shrimp: Paleo, Whole30, Low Carb

  • 1 pound defrosted, deveined shrimp (tail on or off)
  • 1/4 cup lime juice (juice from approximately 1 large lime)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 handful of cilantro, finely chopped


  1. In a large bowl or ziplock baggie, combine shrimp and all ingredients except chopped cilantro
  2. Mix well to evenly coat and let marinate for 15 minutes
  3. If grilling, add shrimp to skewers and grill for 4 minutes on each side and remove from heat
  4. If sautéing, add contents of bowl into a large non-stick skillet over medium heat
  5. Cook for 4 minutes on each side and remove from heat
  6. Garnish with cilantro
  7. Serve and enjoy!


If using wooden/bamboo skewers, wet skewers before adding shrimp and placing on the grill to prevent burning
