Bang Bang Salmon

Bang Bang salmon with homemade Bang Bang sauce is both dairy free and gluten free. It takes about 10 minutes to cook and uses only a few easy ingredients. Made in the oven on a sheet pan, its a breeze for cleanup and makes for an easy win for meal prep or dinner anytime.

Ingredients

Salmon Ingredients

  • 24 salmon filets
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Bang Bang Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce (or hot sauce, such as Franks)
  • 2 teaspoons coconut aminos (or low sodium soy sauce)
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: 1 to 2 tablespoons of water to thin if desired
  • Optional: Additional buffalo sauce or red pepper chili flakes for more spice, if desired, squeeze of lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. In a small bowl, mix the Bang Bang sauce ingredients thoroughly and place into the refrigerator
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry and lightly coat the salmon with oil on a baking sheet
  4. Mix the salmon seasonings in a small bowl and coat the fillets
  5. Place salmon onto a baking sheet and brush the sauce onto the salmon, reserving some for after cooking
  6. Bake 6-8 minutes at 400 degrees F
  7. Brush the rest of the Bang Bang sauce onto the salmon and broil for 2 minutes

Notes

  • The cook time may vary slightly based on the thickness of your salmon fillets
  • Omit honey for Whole30
